What are the product conditions?
LIKE NEW: Includes the box/dust bag and no visible sign of wear.
EXCELLENT: Minimal signs of wear but looks new. Can come without accessories.
VERY GOOD: Signs of wear, like scratches and marks but no significant affect on the appearance.
GOOD: Signs of wear that affects appearance more significantly, scratches or flaking leather, etc.
Do items come with original packaging and paperwork?
Most of our items are in pre-loved conditions meaning that original packings, dustbags, certificates of authenticity, manuals and other paperwork may vary. Thus, please read product description for each item carefully for your information.
Each order is provided with one A Retro Tale dustbag should your item not include one.
What does the A Retro Tales mechanical watch warranty cover?
A Retro Tales 12-month mechanical warranty covers the repair or replacement of parts required to keep the watch in working mechanical condition, including problems with the functioning of the movement, timekeeping, date function and automatic winding systems.
The warranty does not cover external parts such as the crystal, case, bracelet, or normal wear and tear such as scratches and dents. Damage due to accidental impact, water damage (if the watch is not waterproof), or unauthorized repairs and modifications are also not covered. Please note that the warranty will be void if anyone other than A Retro Tale performs work or repairs on the movement.
Are the images shown on your website of the actual items listed for sale?
Yes, every image displayed on A Retro Tale website are actual photos of each item. We aim to provide as detailed photos as possible where wear and tear and other beauty marks are visible. More information regarding product condition is available on each product page.

How is our discount on the original price calculated?
We show how much you save by comparing our price with the recommended retail price (RRP) for a new product from the brand.
The discount percentage is calculated using the following formula: (Brand’s price for the item in EUR incl. VAT - A Retro Tale’s Vintage Price before any discounts in EUR incl. VAT) / Brand’s price for the item in EUR incl. VAT.
This results in a percentage that reflects how much you save by purchasing the item vintage instead of new from the brand. Please note that the RRP is the price recommended by the manufacturer or retailer, while our price is what we offer for the same item.

Which payment options do you offer?
Shopping at A Retro Tale means secure and seamless payments with the help of Adyen. Through Adyen, we offer several popular payment options, including Klarna, Swish, PayPal, Vipps, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Walley, Twint, MobilePay, and card payments (VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX). Below is a breakdown of the available options for your country:
Pay Now – A fast, secure, and simple service for direct payments via cards, Swish, Vipps, Twint, MobilePay, and BankID. Accepted cards for payment include VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX, available for all countries we ship to.
Get First. Pay Later. – In collaboration with Klarna, via Adyen, we offer the option to pay later via invoice. This option will appear at checkout if you are approved for Klarna Pay Later.
Pay in Installments. – Through Klarna via Adyen, we offer installment plans with flexible monthly payment options in select countries, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany and the US. This option will appear at checkout if you are approved for Klarna Pay in Installments.
