To ensure that all customers—regardless of disabilities or assistive technology requirements—receive a clear and seamless user experience on our platform, we have implemented the following accessibility adaptations:
Clear Navigation and Structure
Our site layout provides intuitive navigation, enabling easy access to products and categories. The structure includes clear content outlines and prioritizes logical search functionality aligned with SOU 2021:44 guidelines. Users can effortlessly locate desired categories, switch between sections, and maintain an overview of page content.
Alternative Text for Images and Icons
All visual elements without explicit text are followed by descriptive alternative texts ("accompanied by an alternative presentation," SOU 2021:44). This enables visually impaired users to understand images and icons through screen-reader narration or braille formatting where applicable.
Simplicity and Clarity in Communication
We prioritize concise language, minimize complex terminology or cluttered design ("simplicity and clarity in communication"), organize content with clear headings, and optimize readability for direct access or via assistive tools. Users with reduced vision benefit from adjustable text size, color contrast ratios, and line spacing ("dynamic layout"), tailored to individual needs per SOU guidelines.
Open Information About Accessibility Features
We provide transparent information about accessibility features ("availability of accessibility functions," SOU 2021:44). These tools are directly accessible in the user interface and thoroughly documented to support users’ choice of assistive technologies and content preferences.
Our platform actively aligns with accessibility standards outlined in EU Directive 2018/1972 and Swedish SOU guidelines for digital accessibility published in 2021 ("SOU requirements for e-books and services"). These adaptations are part of ongoing efforts combined with open dialogue to improve accessibility further.
